You will be missed! Thank you so much for everything you have done to educate us all. Wishing you all the very best with your new job and the much better real life / social media balance. You saved a lot of us from losing a lot of money on Marvell and for that you will forever have my gratitude.

Begs the question on engineering. How hard and how long does it take to redo the serdes?

Thanks for the insights, and really hope you'll be back after some time for R&R. Enjoy some quality time playing again! In the meantime, we'll miss your posts!

About your comment on AMD and Samsung: I thought that they source their HBM from Micron.

And as for Samsung, they had apparently started producing HBM for Nvidia accelerators at risk, hoping Nvidia would certify it this time around. Nvidia didn't. Will be interesting to see what Samsung will do with the rejected HBM.

Enjoy your nice long break. Love reading your stuff. Before you disappear...

Just curious why 224g serdes is so difficult that pretty much everyone f it up except broadcom and nvidia? I agree with you rather than tw sell side, clearly it was the same source spoke to multiple sell sides at the same time on the same stuff.
